Holy Cross Falls to Colgate 59-53 in Regular Season Finale

The Crusaders finish the season with a record of 8-10 in the Patriot League and 11-18 overall.
They finish sixth in the conference.
Holy Cross Can’t Hold on
The Holy Cross Crusaders led by 12, 29-17, early in the second half before Colgate went on a 16-5 run to cut Holy Cross’ lead to 34-33.
The Crusaders would hold onto a 40-39 lead with eight minutes, but Colgate went on a 9-0 run the to take the lead for good.
Holy Cross got within four points on two different occasions in the final two minutes, but Colgate sealed the game on the free throw line.
Next up
Holy Cross will return to action in the Patriot League Tournament starting on February 27.
Their opponent is yet to be determined.
