Holy Cross Falls Short
Holy Cross took a 24-21 lead into the second half before Lafayette opened the half on a 10-3 run to take a 31-27 lead.
The Leopards would build a 43-36 lead with ten minutes to play before Holy Cross would make a run.
The Crusaders used a 5-0 run to get within two, 43-41, before Lafayette closed the game on a 17-7 run to win the game 60-48.
Holy Cross starts Patriot League play with an 0-2 record for the first time since the 2014-15 season when they started 0-3.
Next Up
The Crusaders return to action on Friday, January 5 when they visit Lehigh.
Game time is set for 6 p.m.
