Holy Cross Football Hosts Bucknell on Saturday

The Crusaders enter the game with a record of 1-3 after a loss to Dartmouth last week, while Bucknell comes into the game with a record of 0-4.
Game time is set for 1 p.m.

Saturday’s game will mark the 35th meeting in the all-time series with Holy Cross holding a 22-12 advantage.
In last season’s meeting, the Crusaders shut out the Bison 20-0.
Holy Cross holds a 13-5 advantage for games played in Worcester, but the Bison have won each of their last two visits to Fitton Field.
Holy Cross Offense
The Crusaders enter the game averaging just 19 points per game.
The Holy Cross offense is led by senior quarterback Geoff Wade, who has completed 43 of 69 passes for 465 yards and four touchdowns so far this season.
Helping him out will be running back Miles Alexander, who has 174 rushing yards and a touchdown on 45 carries, while receiver Blaise Bell has caught 16 passes for 136 yards.
Holy Cross Defense
On the defensive side of the ball, senior linebacker Ryan Brady leads the team with 57 tackles, two quarterback sacks and 10 tackles for loss. He currently ranks second in the nation in tackles and 13th in tackles for loss.
Earlier this week, Brady was named a semifinalist for the William V. Campbell Trophy.
Sophomore defensive back Joe Lang has added 32 tackles and two quarterback sacks, while senior defensive back Corey Stefanik has 16 tackles, a quarterback sack, a forced fumble, and a fumble recovery.
