Holy Cross freshman Karl Charles has been selected to the 2015-16 Patriot league All-Rookie team, as voted by the conference's head coaches.

In the regular season, Charles averaged 108 points, 4.2 rebounds, 2.2 assists and 0.9 steals per game while knocking down 79 percent of his free throws.

Charles finished the season ranked 9th in the league in free throw percentage and 23rd in scoring.

Charles has reached double-figures 17 times on the year, in addition to leading the team in scoring 8 times, rebounding 9 times, assists 10 times, steals 10 times and blocks 8 times.

During the conference season, Charles averaged 11.6 points, 4.9 rebounds and 2.3 assists.

The Crusaders kick off Patriots League tournament play tonight when they visit Loyola for a first round game.

The Crusaders lost to Loyola in both meetings this season.

Tip off is set for 7:30 p.m.
