With the win, Holy Cross improves to 8-15 on the season and 5-7 in the Patriot League.
Loyola falls to 7-16 overall and 5-7 in the conference.
Holy Cross Rolls
Holy Cross got off to a hot start, jumping out to an early 13-2 lea with 13:53 to play in the half.
The Crusaders built up a 30-13 lead before Loyola cut it to 13 before the break. Holy Cross would take a 39-26 lead at the half.
In the second half, Loyola cut the lead to eight points, 50-42, with 12:52 to play in the game before Holy Cross put the game away.
The Crusaders went on an 11-2 run with Freshman forward Jacob Grandison scoring five of the 11 points.
Grandison finished the game with a career-high 21 points to lead Holy Cross to the win.
Junior Jehyve Floyd added 14 points.
Next Up
Holy Cross returns to action Wednesday, February 7 when they host Navy.
Game time is set for 7 p.m.
