Friday, December 12, 2014
"The extension reflects our confidence in Coach Gilmore, his leadership and his dedication to our student-athletes and this program," Pine said of the contract extension.
Gilmore, a two-time Patriot League Coach of the Year, is coming off a season in which his Crusaders went four and eight overall and two and four in the Patriot League.
"I am very appreciative of the commitment and support that Nathan Pine and Holy Cross have shown me. I am dedicated to returning Holy Cross to the top of the Patriot League, and look forward to many successful seasons in the years to come," Gilmore said of his contract extension.
Next season, Holy Cross will return 15 of their 22 starters, nine of which were members of the scholarship freshman and sophomore classes.
The Crusaders open up the 2015 season with a September 5 game at Monmouth. The first home game for Holy Cross will be on September 26 when they host Colgate.
