With the win, Holy Cross snaps a two-game losing streak and improves to 4-6 on the season, while the Bobcats fall to 3-6 overall.
Holy Cross Pulls Away
Holy Cross led 20-10 with 10:43 left in the first half before the Bobcats went on an 11-3 run to cut their deficit to two, 23-21 after Mikey Dixon knocked down two free throws with 7:49 left to play in the half.
On the Crusaders next possession, Robert Champion converted a three-pointer to give the Crusaders a five-point lead back, 26-21 and spark an 11-5 Holy Cross run to close the half.
Leading 34-26 at the half, the Crusaders opened the second half on a 13-2 run to take a 47-28 lead with 15 minutes to play in the game.
Quinnipiac would not get closer than 15 points the rest of the way.
The Crusaders shot a season high 58.7 percent from the field and recorded 23 assists on 27 made baskets.
Defensively, Holy Cross recorded 16 steals in the game, the most they have recorded in a game since 2006, when they recorded 16 steals against Fairfield.
The Leaders
Champion led Holy Cross with a career-high 28 points on 11 of 15 shooting from the field, including 5 of 7 from three, while also grabbing six rebounds and dishing out four assists.

Karl Charles added 14 points on 5 of 7 shooting fro the field and eight assists.
Next up
The Crusaders return to action on Sunday, December 18 when they travel to Rhode Island to take on the URI Rams.
Tip-off is set for 12:30 p.m.
