The Boston Celtics play their third of 5 straight home games tonight at the TD Garden when they host the Utah Jazz at 7:30 p.m.
The Celtics are coming off of a win over the Miami Heat, one of their biggest wins of the season when you take into account the standings.
The win was Head Coach Brad Stevens' 100th win of his NBA career and puts the Celtics in prime position to get home court advantage in at least the first round of playoffs.
The Celtics lost to the Jazz in their first game back from all-star break and look to redeem themselves.

The Tuesday before Thanksgiving, the Celtics will head to Atlanta to take on the upstart Hawks.
Atlanta held the #1 seed in the Eastern Conference playoffs last season and ultimately lost to the Cleveland Cavaliers in the Eastern Conference playoffs.
This game will already represent the second time the Celtics play the Hawks this season. They'll first play in Boston on November 13.

The C's next two nationally televised games are against Chicago in a home-and-home exchange.
The Bulls finished 50-32 last season and grabbed the #3 seed in the East. Like the Hawks, the Bulls are an upstart team and the return of Derrick Rose for an entire season could make the Bulls a force.

Indiana Pacers @ Celtics

The Pacers aren't the team they used to be. What was once an up-and-coming franchise, fell flat on its face last year.
They went into the 2013-2014 playoffs as the #1 seed, only to lose in the Conference Finals to the Miami Heat for the second straight year.
Last season, they finished with ninth best record in the East - just short of making the playoffs.
As they say, if you can't make the playoffs in the Eastern Conference, your team probably isn't that good.

The combination of Derrick Favors, Gordon Hayward, and Rudy Gobert should be enough to push the Jazz into the playoffs this season. If Trey Burke can continue to score regularly, that should help them improve enough to sneak into the Western Conference playoffs.
The level of play in the West is so much higher than the East that the Jazz are a much better team than the Celtics, even though they finished three spots out of the playoffs last season.
It should be a good test last in the year for the Celtics against a good young squad.

You can probably expect different green uniforms for the St. Patrick's Day eve game against the Thunder in Boston.
If Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook are healthy, than it should be a win for the Thunder. But if history tells us anything, it means that at least one of them won't be available.
Maybe Danny Ainge can talk to Durant while he's in Boston and see if he wants to sign with the C's in the offseason.

Celtics @ Golden State Warriors

The Celts head west to take on the defending champions Golden State Warriors on April Fool's Day.
This is the team that the C's need to start copying - style of play, perimeter shooter - in order to succeed in the East.
The Warriors proved they can beat anyone, and dismantled the hated Cavs in the last year's finals.
