Lake Quinsigamond Hosts Largest USRowing Masters National Championships in History

Massachussets will be the best represented state with 20 clubs who are sending total of 463 entries.
The most represented club will be Community Rowing Inc. with 118 entries followed by Cambridge Boat Club.
The Championships
The championships are an opportunity for masters rowers ages 21 and older from all over the country to compete in able-bodied and adaptive events. The estimated 2,160 athletes in 2,174 boats will represent 166 clubs from 32 states and three countries.
The most popular category in this year's regatta is the men's single sculls, which consists of 232 entries. On the women's side, the four with coxswain has the most entries with 227.
Plenty to do Off the Water
For those not participating in the races, there is plenty to do off the water. There will be a beer garden at Regatta Point hosted by Long Trail Brewing Co., photo opportunities with athletes and so much more.
Championships at Lake Quinsigamond
Lake Quinsigamond has been hosting the championships since 1857 and also has played host to this regatta multiple times, the most recent one coming in 2012 when that event set a USRowing record with more than 1,900 entries and 2,000 competitors.
