NEW: Holy Cross Suffers Heartbreaker With 47-41 Loss to #10 Fordham

The Holy Cross Crusaders (2-4, 0-2 PL) fell 47-41 in overtime to the (6-1, 2-0) #10Fordham Rams on Saturday afternoon in the Bronx, New York. 

Holy Cross tied the game 41-41 on a Zane Wasp 48 yard field attempt with no time left on the clock to force overtime. 

In the OT period, Holy Cross had first possession but was unable to score, giving Fordham a chance to win the game. 

The Rams took advantage of their chance as running back Chase Edmonds ran seven yards for a touchdown and the walk-off 47-41 win. 

The Numbers

Holy Cross quarterback Peter Pujals completed 35 of 70 passes for 508 yards and four touchdowns while Brian Flaherty, Kevin Raymond and Jake Wieczorek all had over 100 yards receiving. 

Next up 

Holy Cross willl look to snap a two game losing streak when they return home on Saturday, October 24th to host Lafayette. Kickoff is set for 1:05 p.m.
