NEW: Mudd Steps Down as President of Worcester Sharks

Monday, July 01, 2013

As the organization continues to move towards a more simplified business model and re-evaluate their operations, Sharks Sports & Entertainment (SSE) announced today that Michael A. Mudd has stepped down from his role as president of the Worcester Sharks.

In the near term, SSE Chief Operating Officer John Tortora will oversee the organization’s business operations.

In addition, Tortora will serve as the franchise’s Governor to the American Hockey League.

“Sharks Sports & Entertainment would like to thank Mike for his many years of service to our organization, dating back to its years in Cleveland,” said Tortora. “We wish him and his family the best moving forward.”
