The Nichols College women’s lacrosse program has announced the addition of 10-year-old Cassidy Burke to the team’s roster.

See The Video Below

Burke, of Webster, Mass comes to Nichols from Team Impact, whose mission is to improve the quality of life for children facing life threatening and chronic illnesses through the power of team.

Last Friday, Cassidy signed a contract to join the Bison and then had dinner with members of the team at Lombardi Dining Hall. Cassidy then watched the school’s first football game of the season with the team from the bleachers before being honored at halftime.

“We are very excited to have Cassidy join our team this year. She is full of spunk and personality, just like our team! We are anxious to get our fall season started so that she can join some of our practices and see us in action. We’re also looking forward to showing her around campus and doing some of her favorite activities with her,” said Nichols head coach Kathryn Beall.

Cassidy will wear number 19 with the Bison
