Glassblowing Flowers for Mom 

Kick off Mother's day weekend right with some glassblowing fun at the Hot Glass Studio from 6:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. 

Learn about the history and process behind creating beautiful blown glass at the New Street Glass Studio. After learning the safety and studio etiquette rules, students will watch a brief demonstration of this 2000-year-old art before diving in and making their very own floppy bowl from glass gathered out of a 2100-degree furnace.

Free Comic Book is set to take place for the 15th year and presents a great opportunity to pick up a cool book for free. 

The day also presents a great opportunity for new readers and or collectors. to get into comics. Got to store, pick up a cool book and see if you like it. If you don't, oh well, it was free. 

But if you do, you may read comics forever.
