Revs, D.C. United Play to 1-1 Draw at Gillette
Sunday, May 24, 2015
Charlie Davies found the back of the net on a rebound in the first minute of stoppage time before the first half came to a close to give the Revs a 1-0 lead.
However, in the second half, the Revolution saw both Chris Tierney and Lee Nguyen sent off with red cards early in the frame. The Revs would have to go the rest of the way with just nine men.
In the 80th minute, D.C. United's Jairo Arrieta found the back of the net to pull D.C. United into a tie.
The Revs return to action on Sunday May, 31 when they host the LA Galaxy in a rematch of last year's MLS Title Game. The game is set to kick off at 7 p.m.
