Revs Fall to Real Salt Lake 4-1

The New England Revolution fell to Real Salt Lake 4-1 on Thursday night in Utah.

The loss drops the Revs to 9-13-11 on the season, while Real Salt Lake improved to 14-12-7 overall.

Real Salt Lake Dominates Revs

Real Salt Lake dominated the first half and jumped out to a 3-0 lead over New England before the 30-minute mark.

Nick Besler opened the scoring in the fourth minute, finishing off a pass from Corey Baird.

Sebastian Saucedo then added to the lead with a low strike from in the 14th minute, and Baird scored for his eighth goal of the season in the 29th minute.

Real Salt Lake would add another goal in the second half and go on to win 4-1.

Next Up

The Revolution will conclude their 2018 season on Sunday, October 28 when they host the Montreal Impact at Gillette Stadium.

Game time is set for 4:30 p.m.
