Revs Lose 2 Goal Lead, Settle For 2-2 Draw With Orlando

Saturday, May 09, 2015

The New England Revolution (5-2-3) played to a 2-2 draw with (2-4-3) Orlando City FC in Orlando on Friday night. With the tie, the Revolution extend their unbeaten streak to eight games and keep Orlando City from getting their first home win in franchise history.

Charlie Davies found the back of the net in the first half off of a steal to put the Revs up 1-0 . Davies now has a goal in four straight matches for the Revolution.

New England would add another goal in the 71st minute on a steal by Kelyn Rowe  to put the Revs up 2-0.

However, Orlando would come storming back and an Aurelien Collin goal in the 90th minute would tie the game at two and that is how it would end.

Both New England and Orlando registered two shots on target and both resulted in two goals for each team respectively.

The Revs return to action on Saturday, May 16 when they host Toronto FC at Gillette Stadium.
