NEW: Stanley Cup Coming to Rhode Island

GoLocal has learned that the Boston Bruins will be bringing the Stanley Cup to Providence this week.

According to sources at the City of Providence, the Stanley Cup will be on display at the Rhode Island Convention Center on Thursday from 12 noon to 2:30 pm.. Bruins' Assistant Coach Don Sweeney will be accompanying the Cup on on visits to Providence.
