Worcester Academy Alum Reynolds Wins National Title With Villanova

Worcester Academy grad Darryl Reynolds was a part of the Villanova team that won the national championship game on Monday night beating North Carolina 77-74 in Houston.

While at Worcester Academy, Reynolds led the Hilltoppers to a 21-6 record in the New England Prep School Athletic Conference during his post graduate season. He signed a national letter of intent to Villanova in April of 2013.

Reynolds was coached at Worcester Academy by Jamie Sullivan who congratulated his former player via twitter.

National Champion

In the game, Reynolds played 10 minutes, went 0 for 2 from the field and picked up a personal foul.

During Villanova's championship season, Reynolds averaged 17 minutes, 3.6 points and 4.5 rebounds per game, shooting 63% from the field.
