You especially want to be glowy around the holidays but working, shopping, schlepping, baking, and a few late night wrapping sessions can really take a toll on your skin. One way to get the spark back for all your holiday merriments is with a great highlighter. There are lots of new light reflecting cream products on the market today but the quickest and easiest way to get candlelit-from-within radiance is with a highlighting powder. Physicians Formula Powder Palette Mineral Glow Pearls is a frosty compact of multi-color "pearls" that illuminate and highlight the face softly. Laura Mercier Shimmer Bloc Mosaic is a very smooth formulation that gives a lovely sheen without looking metallic. This personal fav comes in Mercier's signature sparkly brown compact and is perfect for nocturnal shimmering but is subtle enough to put a little glow into your daytime look as well.
