With summer solidly here, it's time for another look at the latest trunk shows and sales to keep us seasonally fashionable - and under budget.

Dish, Warren's well-loved boutique, celebrates its 8th anniversary with sales, savories, and sippables. A 20%-off sale runs from Thursday through Sunday, and for every $25 you spend, you'll be entered to win a $100 gift certificate. Modern Love, Downcity's hot shoe boutique, hosts a trunk show featuring Mallory Musante shoes (10% off), plus wine and champagne. Perfect summer night, and great chance to grab a local designer's work. 6-8pm. 220 Westminster St, Providence.

Queen of Hearts, the sister to Modern Love, will also feature a special night featuring the jewelry of Sarah Quick at 10% off as well. 6-8pm. 222 Westminster St, Providence.

Summer sale season in Providence

Clover, another Downcity boutique, has got a major men's sale going this month (25% off) and select women's fashions up to 35% off. At Express at Providence Place Mall, they're taking 30-40% off Women's and Men's Summer Collection throughout the month of June. At Aeropostale and Delia's both, it's $10 off through the end of the month. The Summer Sale at H&M kicks off today and runs through July 3, while the Half-Yearly Sale for Men at Nordstrom runs June 17-June 26. Finally a great Summer Sale at Vera Bradley translates to 25% off select colors and styles.
