Message: From GoLocalWorcester by Patrick Sargent, GoLocal Worcester Contributor: Last week, GoLocal Worcester reported on the unfortunate trend of school bomb threats in the Central Massachusetts area. Between January 1 and November 12, in Massachusetts there have been 21 bomb threats and three shooting threats. During the same period of time, there have been 250 incidents of threats across the country, including 65 shooting threats and 24 deaths. Brandon-COPsync, a Danvers based company, may have the solution to these bomb threat scares. "This is not a panic button or 911. This is a very powerful software platform that links schools directly to police officers," said Don Flanagan, CEO of Brandon-COPsync. "For the first time, police actually will have the understanding and knowledge of where the threat is coming from." http://www.golocalworcester.com/business/danvers-company-provides-solution-to-local-high-school-threats
