Message: From GoLocalWorcester by Patrick Sargent, GoLocal Worcester Contributor: Leave it to the most important national holiday of the year to interrupt an uncivilized shopping spree of door-busters and markdowns. How selfish of Thanksgiving to gather family and friends. We could be out there spending money on those loved ones, but no, we have to eat dinner with them first. How dare Massachusetts force us to talk over turkey? The notorious 'Black Friday' has suddenly become a three-day long shopping event where Worcester locals try to get their Christmas shopping done and over with during a holiday so they can spend more time with their friends and family over the holidays. For those of you that can't wait to finish your Thanksgiving dinner and sprint out the door with your credit cards in hand, here's a list of opening early Friday morning. We've provided the links to each store for those that actually enjoy their relatives company and can wait until dinner is over and the pie plates are cleared: http://www.golocalworcester.com/lifestyle/major-retail-outlets-thanksgiving-day-shopping-hours
