NEW: Bishop McManus Arrested in Rhode Island on DUI

Worcester Bishop Robert McManus was arrested Saturday night by Narragansett Police in Rhode Island and charged with DUI, refusal of a chemical test, and leaving the scene of an accident.

According to the Narragansett Police, McManus was involved in a hit-and-run accident Saturday on Boston Neck Road.

McManus left the scene of the accident, and was later arrested by police at his home in Bonnet Shores. He was released on as summons, and is due in court tomorrow morning.
