NEW: California Billionaire Hires Plane to Fly Banner Bashing Lynch

Wednesday, March 27, 2013

California billionaire and clean energy crusader took to the skies in his latest attack against Congressman Stephen Lynch, hiring an airplane to fly over Boston trailing a banner trashing Lynch for his stance on the Keystone XL pipeline.

The banner claimed that Lynch supports the Montreal Canadians, nicknamed the Habs, and "Canadian dirty oil."

Lynch's campaign for U.S. Senate sent out a press release pointing out that the Congressman not only strongly supports the Boston Bruins, he sponsored the original legislation creating the Boston Bruins license plates that help raise money for youth hockey in Massachusetts.

The Lynch campaign also pointed out that Steyer has not only used airplane fuel in his attacks on Lynch, but also hired trucks to pollute the air by driving around and showing videos that the campaign says inaccurately claim Lynch has supported tax subsidies for big oil.

See a photo of the banner below.
