Medical relief efforts in West African countries like Liberia and Sierra Leone have created new cases of infection in American citizens, and physicians aiding the infected. The growth of new cases in Americans has also caused organizations like the US Peace Corps to pull volunteers out of Africa. The United States has about five hospitals with special isolation units capable of containing Ebola victims, and a slowly growing list of US citizens in need of care including: Texas Presbyterian Hospital and Nebraska Medical Center where US victims are currently being treated.

Jean-Marc Brocard, which the Domaine is formally named, produces around 1.2 million bottles of wines annually and is one of the largest family owned and operated wine estates in Chablis.
