It's a familiar place for these New England Patriots...the playoffs. But considering the road traveled this year to reach the post-season, it's anyone's guess how long they might stick around.

Vices like smoking and gambling (and in a marginal sense, prostitution) are often termed “victimless” crimes by criminologists, since the individuals who engage in these activities do so willingly, despite the societal consequences of the behaviors, or the communal opprobrium attached to them. Despite the Puritan roots of the New England scene, smoking and gambling (and even the world's oldest profession) enjoy their place in the public square.
They have also faced (or embraced) state lawmakers’ attempts to regulate (or frustrate) their practice.

After a weekend of soft-packed powder conditions, skiers and riders all across the Northeast woke up Monday to southerly winds, mild temperatures, and rain. Not that there is ever a time when that stuff is good for winter sports folks, but it is a Monday and not a Friday, so the impact on sliding plans will be minimized. January is in full swing and with it comes a tough time of year for many people. The holidays are over, and all that is left is the stress of paying for all of those gifts and losing the weight you put on with all those holiday treats.
To make things worse, the temperatures are dropping and many of your favorite activities may be off limits. If you are not a snow bug, it can be difficult to find a way to stay active during the coldest winter months.
One of the best ways to get stress-free and stay active all year long is yoga. Yoga is a refreshing alternative to the same old gym routine and will have you feeling better about yourself—inside and out—in no time.
The Central Mass area is home to a bounty of yoga studios, with classes for ages 1-100 and skill levels from beginner to advanced. Check out ten of our favorites and try out one that looks right for you!
