Nelson Place Elementary School will be getting a major facelift.  According to a news release, Mayor Joseph Petty announced today that the Massachusetts School Building Authority Board of Directors approved the City of Worcester to proceed with the feasibility and design plans for construction of six Worcester schools. Those schools include:  Nelson Place Elementary School, Chandler Magnet, Dr. James A. Caradonio New Citizens Center, Jacob Hiatt Magnet, Lake View and May Street.
