Charter Puts Safeguard in Place to Stabilize Network

Tuesday, January 27, 2015

Charter Communications has put safeguards in place to stablize its workforce and network in preparation of snowstorm Juno.

According to a released statement, "Charter’s storm preparation plan includes an internal employee alert system, as well as insuring all Charter facilities in the path of the storm are properly stocked with equipment and resources readied at staging areas in safe locations. Suppliers of fiber and cable also are notified to be on stand-by alert."

Priority will be given to hospitals, community and government facilities that depend on Chater services.

Charter has established a Storm Center web page featuring emergency preparedness and real time service restoration information at www.charter.com. In instances regarding network storm damage, Charter encourages its customers to call 1-888-GET-CHARTER (1-888-438-2427).
