Destination Worcester Teams with Cultural Coalition to Build New App

Friday, March 27, 2015

(L-R) Timothy P. Murray, Chamber CEO; Danielle Shabo, Marketing Assistance; and Adrian Bradley, CEO and Founder of i3 DIGITAL take time out of their app planning session.

Destination Worcester and the Worcester Cultural Coalition have announced that they are teaming up to build one of the most advanced digital marketing and communications platforms in the United States.

The purpose of this new platform is to support local businesses and organizations helping to promote tourism, events, attractions and retail trade for visitors.

"This new app will be an easy and convenient way for people to find exciting venues, take advantage of discounts and deals, and share information with friends and family. And, it will help our retail, destination, and entertainment communities as well," said Christina Andreoli, the Executive Director of Destination Worcester and Vice Presidents of Worcester Regional Chamber of Commerce.

The app will  provide a dynamic and interactive experience for visitors, who may be traveling to Worcester for an event, convention, or meeting and for residents seeking something new.

The mobile app is funded in part by the Fred H. Daniels Foundation, Adams Arts Program of the Massachusetts Cultural Council and the City of Worcester.
