Greenwood Park Improvements to be Celebrate With Ribbon Cutting Ceremony

The City of Worcester will host a ribbon cutting ceremony to celebrate the Greenwood Park Improvements on Tuesday, October 27 at 5 p.m.

The ceremony will feature Mayor Joseph Petty, District Three councilor George Russell, City Manager Edward Augustus Jr. and other city and state officials.

The ceremony will celebrate recent improvements to Greenwood park that include the new tennis courts, new lighted basketball bout, playground upgrades, new shelter, new picnic tables, and accessible walking path upgrades.

There are more improvements planned in 2016.
