Job Numbers
According to the Department of Labor, total non-farm payrolls dropped from April’s 224,000.
The main numbers were lower than the median 185,000 that was predicted by economists back in May, the Department of Labor reports.
A positive for the economy is healthcare and professional and business services.
According to CNN, between the two occupations, they have added almost 900,000 jobs over the past year.
