Five Great Chinese Food Buffets in Central Mass

Got a hankering for Chinese food? Here are five great places where you can eat to your heart’s content:

Nancy Chang, 372 Chandler Street, Worcester.

Lunch Buffet: 12 – 2:30 pm, $10; Dinner Buffet: 5:30 – 8:30 pm, $14

Award winning Nancy Chang’s features a variety of Asian cuisine that includes Thai, Malaysian and Polynesian specialties that combines freshness and flavor with low fat, healthy cuisine. Nancy Chang’s offers a Gluten free menu and never uses MSG.

The buffet features a half dozen appetizers, fried rice, lo mein, six entrees, with its famous General Chow’s Chicken always available.

Bauhinia Restaurant, 271 Grafton Street, Shrewsbury

Daily Luncheon Buffet: 11:30 am - 2:30 pm, $9.55; Sunday Dinner Buffet: 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm, $16.95.

Bauhinia Restaurant, which blends Chinese and Japanese cuisine, features fresh ingredients, a friendly atmosphere, and high-quality service.

The buffet, which features two dozen varieties of appetizers and entrees, also includes salad and ice cream in its daily offerings. On Sunday evening, a variety of seafood is also available.

 
Imperial Buffet, 380 Maple Ave., Shrewsbury

Located in the Fairlawn Plaza, just off of Route 9, Imperial Buffet features a variety of choices, including a raw bar, crab and sushi. Chinese favorites abound, including General Gao’s chicken, lo mein and appetizers. Its coconut chicken is also very popular.

Imperial Buffet, which has another location at 350 East Main St, Milford, also offers its buffet to go, at a cost of $4.95 per pound at lunch and $5.95 per pound. for dinner.

Cheoy Lee’s 2, 45 Sterling Street, West Boylston

Lunch Buffet: 12 – 2 pm, Monday to Saturday, $6.95; Dinner Buffet, Thursday – Sunday, $12.95.

Cheoy Lee’s buffet includes a generous variety of the usual appetizers and entrees; the evening buffet features all you can eat steamers and oysters.


Chopsticks, 21 Commercial Road, Leominster

Lunch Buffet, 11:30 am Monday to Saturday, $9.50; Dinner Buffet, Thursday and Sunday, $14.50

General Gao’s chicken is a favorite on Chopsticks' buffet, whose menu changes daily.
