Whole Foods Community Giving Day to benefit Regional Environmental Council

The Regional Environmental Council announced that it will receive 5% of net sales from Whole Foods Market in Shrewsbury as part of the company’s annual Community Giving Days.

The sales will be donated on Thursday, April 18 from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m.

Whole Foods Community Giving Day

The April Community Giving Day initiative is Healthy Food Access, investing in organizations, partnerships, projects and events that improve access to healthy food for all, provide healthy eating and cooking resources and education, and highlight the essential role of healthy food in the communities we serve.

More than 500 Whole Foods Market locations will participate in the Community Giving Day by donating to organizations, projects, and programs that support the mission of strengthening communities through food.
