Tessa is becoming downright demanding of attention from her foster Mama. She loves pets and will follow her foster Mama around. She is also fascinated by the dog who lives in the home and keeps trying to become friends with her! She gets along so well with all the cats and dogs in the home. She just needs someone to give her a little time to come out of her shell in her new home, and she will make the best of companions. Tessa needs to go into a home with a friendly cat to help with her adjustment.

Fletcher

Here's Fletcher! Fletcher is a very friendly adult/senior dog that is brand new to Broken Tail Rescue! He has the face of an old man, but upon examination of his teeth and his attitude, our vet ballparked him at around 8-10 years old. He certainly doesn't act like an old man!

He loves going for walks and trotting around the backyard. He met lots of people at the farmers market, and was great with everyone! He ignores the cat in his foster home, and is fine with dogs that don't act extremely dominant around him. He seems to like children a lot, and is really just a friendly little guy!

Meet Clarabelle! She is a super gentle, intelligent, mature soul looking for her retirement home! We don't know much about her history as she was found as a stray - but those pretty eyes must have quite the story to tell! Our vet estimates that she is 10 years old, and is 35 pounds and appears to be in good health!

The best word for Clara is GENTLE. She is extremely calm and doesn't bark much. She likes to be outside, going for walks (though the days of long hikes are behind her) and gazing out the French doors in her foster home. She is completely fine with the dog and cat in her foster home, and would be very trustworthy around children.
