Bruiser
Chihuahua Mix
Hello my name is Bruiser! I am a 4 year old chihuahua. I am currently being fostered in Weymouth. I love to cuddle with my foster family but I get sad when they have to go out. I get really excited when they come home and they take me out I love walks. I still need help with house training because sometimes I have accidents. I have two friends that I live with so I am good with other dogs and I am also good with kids! Not to sure about cats because I’ve never met any. I know you will love me when you meet me!
Clea
Chihuahua & Whippet Mix
Hi I’m Clea, that’s short for Cleopatra! I am Whippet mix, 4 years young and I am 6lbs. I am a confident, regal beauty full of character! I love laying out in the sun and working on my tan, I do doggy yoga daily and I adore snuggling. I’m currently looking for a throne to call my own, or a lap. I’m looking for a family with or without kids or even someone elderly! Im a very easy dog to care for as long as there is some structure in the house. I am house broken, crate trained, sleep in my own bed at night, and don’t mind meeting new people as long as they meet me slowly, at my level! In exchange for a throne I will give you unconditional love, affection and lots of entertainment!
Tessa
Domestic Shorthair
Tessa is a shy FIV+ girl whose under a year old. She was found as a stray in Dorchester, but this girl wasn’t meant to live on the streets. She’s sweet and gets along very well with her foster brother and sisters (cats and a dog). She needs a home whose patient and gives her time to come out of her shell. Tessa is very playful and loves to chase the laser light! She will make a great companion to a lonely cat, and is easy going enough that she has blended well in the multitude of personalities in her current foster home.
UPDATE: Tessa is becoming bolder every day, hanging out near her Foster Mom. She’s learning habits from her cat-friends, and is enjoying pets from her foster Mom!
Liam
Domestic Shorthair
Liam is sweet cat who also gets along well with other cats. He’s just one year old, and is on the smaller side for a boy kitty, with a beautiful coat that almost looks like a dilute pastel coloring. He loves to play, run around and explore, and has even climbed a 7 foot ladder to get a better view of things. Liam has tested positive for Feline Leukemia, so he needs either to be in a home with other FeLV positive cats, or the only cat in the household.
Spencer
American Shorthair
Spencer is a gorgeous 8 year old ginger gentleman. He has a lot of dignity except when he displays his vast tummy to the world. He loves scratches, snuggling up to his people and is very friendly. He gets on well with the dog in his foster home. He’ll make a wonderful family cat.
Karma
Pit Bull Terrier Mix
Meet Karma! She is a very sweet one year old pit bull. Unfortunately poor Karma has spent most her life moving from shelter to shelter. All this little girl wants is a home to call her own. She is doing great in her foster home and loves to take naps on the couch! She loves going for walks and does great on her leash. Karma still has some puppy in her and loves to run and play. She will need plenty of exercise. Karma will make a great family dog! She is going to need an active family and a family that will give her the training she needs. Karma is not a fan of having to share her home with another dog. Even though she prefers to be the only dog in the home, she has no problems making friends with other dogs. Her foster dad says she gets along great with dogs both small and large! We don’t know how she is with cats so we can’t say good or bad. If your looking for a fun loving dog who is eager to learn then Miss Karma is your dog!
Duke
Chihuahua
Duke is a 12 lb bundle of love. He is an active, playful 1 year old. Duke has a lot of love to give the right woman. He is fearful of men and will occasionally growl. If the man sits quietly and makes no move toward him, Duke will approach and sniff, lick or accept a treat. He can learn to trust the man who is willing to be patient. Duke gets along well with other dogs and cats. He is house and crate trained . He needs some remedial leash training but enjoys walking with other dogs.
Nala
Boston Terrier/Beagle Mix
Nala is a fabulous seven year old sweetheart. She’s fabulous with other dogs and loves people of all ages. She lived in a home with a baby before (up to 16 months) and is currently being fostered with a five month old who she loves. She’s very well housetrained. Nala loves people so much and has some separation anxiety when left alone. She is doing well learning to use a crate in her foster home. She does whine for about 20 minutes when first in the crate but then settles down nicely.
