Bank of America Toy Drive Benefits 9 Local Organizations

Tuesday, December 14, 2010

Bank of America just took the Toy Drive super-local.

This year's Bank of America’s 2010 Holiday Toy Drive allows donors to act locally, by choosing bank branches with ties to a local community charity, for donating toys. The notion allows local bank patrons to feel good that their toy donations are staying in the community, and can also inspire others to consider a variety of charities for giving. Through December 21, the following branches in Providence will be accepting toys that are new, unwrapped, and appropriate for children up to 18 years of age.

o       814 Hope Street – The Mount Hope Neighborhood Association

o       661 Broadway – Joy of Sharing

o       1473 Broad Street – Rocca De Salvation Church

o       Providence Place – Toys for Tots of Rhode Island

o       575 Charles Street – Wanskuck Boys & Girls Club of Providence

o       215 Atwells Avenue – John Hope Settlement House

o       111 Westminster Street – John Hope Settlement House

o       125 Dupont Drive – Rhode Island Community Food Bank

o       457 Angell Street – The Marine Toys for Tots Foundation

Designated Bank of America banking centers are collecting toys to benefit local charities in the communities in which they are located.  To locate additional Back of America locations, please visit www.bankofamerica.com
