Wednesday, August 29, 2012

College students and beer go together like PB&J, and Worcester has some great places to hang out.

College students and beer go together like peanut butter and jelly (as long as they are 21 of course). Bars are a terrific place to socialize while drinking one of the world’s favorite beverages, especially for

students, who need to unwind a little after a hard week of school. Here are some great places in the Worcester area for the perfect night.

Wormtown Brewery at Peppercorn’s Bar and Grille

Wormtown Brewery has a fascinating history and a great selection of locally brewed beers. In fact, it only uses ingredients grown right here in Massachusetts. They offer a series of year-round beer choices, including Seven Hills Pale Ale and Worcester’s Bravest Ale, along with seasonal beverages like Wormtown Pumpkin Ale (great for students returning in the Fall). 455 Park Ave, Worcester. 774-239-1555. wormtownbrewery.com
