Canadian Brass to Work with South High Band Program

Tuesday, January 06, 2015

The Canadian Brass will spend the day at South High School on January 23 and work with the school's band program. On that same night, the Canadian Brass will be performing at Mechanics Hall and many of the South High Students will be in attendance.

Adrien Finlay, Music Worcester's Executive Director, said "Over the past two years Music Worcester has been working hard to connect the ensembles and artists visiting the City with area schools and music programs. We take great pride in being able to celebrate the continued success of the band program at South High Community School by making possible this visit by the Canadian Brass. We know the students will be amazed, entertained, and inspired."

Canadian Brass has sold over two million albums worldwide and has performed all over the world in front of millions of people. The band is made up of founder and tuba player Chuck Daellenbach, trumpet players Caleb Hudson and Christopher Coletti, trombone player Achilles Liarmakopoulos and horn player Bernhard Scully.

Tickets to their Mechanics Hall show can be purchased here: The Canadian Brass.
