Canal District to Host “Carnaval de Canal” on Feb. 17

The Canal District will host Worcester's Fourth Annual "Carnaval de Canal" Mardi Gras Party on February 17. 

The evening will kick off at 6 p.m. and will go throughout the night along Harding, Green, Water, and Millbury Streets until the close of business. 

The night will be filled with food and drink specials as well as tastings, unique performers, contests to include a photo scavenger hunt. There will be prizes like a VIP Trip to Mardi Gras weekend in Burlington, Vermont and local gift certificates. 

Costumes are encouraged. 

The Schedule of events is as follows: 

• Kick-off at The Compass Tavern - 6 PM
• Crowning of the King and Queen at Mai Tai - 9 PM
• VIP Trip Giveaways at The Lucky Dog - 11 PM
