Professional theater actor/director, Kate Carney, will perform a historical play based on stories told by Mrs. Lois Larcom, a boarding house keeper in Lowell, Massachusetts in 1843. Carney, appearing in costume and character as Mrs. Larcom, brings to life what it was like for the young Yankee women working in Lowell. Her interactive program dramatizes the changes taking place in the mills and is illustrated with a virtual museum exhibit of artifacts and images from the time period. Free admission.
