Kevin Bacon (6 degrees of Bacon lives!!!) got comfortable at the Hotel Providence as he sent Sosie, his daughter with actress Kyra Sedgwick, off to Brown for her sophomore year ... Actress Jeri Ryan, co-star of the new ABC medical drama, Body of Proof, was seen dining at The Cheesecake Factory at Providence Place recently with her daughter and nanny in tow. Sources say Ryan dined on the restaurant’s Miso Salmon with Sake Butter. Body of Proof is said to air Fridays as part of ABC’s fall line-up …Beloved Washington Post food critic Tom Sietsema paid a stealth visit to Providence over the summer for his wildly-popular Postcard from Tom series and his just-published rave reviews for Cook & Brown Public House, Farmstead and Persimmon credit the secret of each eatery’s success to the couples that run them … “Schmitty the Weather Dog” packed her bags over the weekend (or the furry diva had them backed for her) ending her summer stay the Hyatt Regency Newport.
