NEW: Acclaimed Director Wes Anderson Shooting Major Film in RI

Get ready for Bruce Willis, Ed Norton, Bill Murray, Tilda Swinton, Francis McDormand, Jason Schwartzman, and star director Wes Anderson.
Steven Feinberg, Executive Director of The Rhode Island Film & Television Office, has confirmed that the critically acclaimed, Academy-award nominated director of Rushmore, The Royal Tenenbaums, and The Fantastic Mr. Fox, among other films, will be making his next will be making his next feature film, Moonrise Kingdom, in Rhode Island.
The film is scheduled to begin principal photography this spring in numerous locations around the state.
The screenplay for Moonrise Kingdom is written by Wes Anderson and Roman Coppola. Anderson will also produce, along with collaborators Scott Rudin, Steven Rales and Jeremy Dawson. Indian Paintbrush Productions will finance and produce the picture.

More than star power... revenue too
