It was a great day for 20-year-old Kayla Skomro from Charlestown.

Skomro came to Lottery Headquarters yesterday to claim $20,000 from Rhode Island Lottery’s Instant Game, Emerald Green Slingo.

Skomro purchased her winning ticket at Spring Street Market on 1 Spring Street in Hope Valley. Yesterday, thought, it was a family affair, and Skomro's whole family came to Lottery headquarters to see her get her big check.

So, what's a 20-year-old going to do with all that money? She's going to Florida, Kayla said.
