NEW: Royal Wedding Update from London, 9:50AM

Friday, April 29, 2011

It's been a glorious morning in England, and GoLocalProv's Royal Wedding Correspondent Kate Crossland-Page has the latest from London.

Queenie never looked better than when she arrived at Westminster Abbey, dressed very smartly in yellow. While the weather was overcast, just as Kate met William at the altar, the sun came through the clouds! Perfection!

At 12:10 PM GMT... A toast to the happy couple rang through Hyde Park, cheers and shouting everywhere!

Meanwhile, the crowd here is so huge, we may have lost one of our party of revelers. She left at 10:30 to find a bathroom and hadn't returned for more than an hour. The mobile signals are remarkably spotty as all of us are emailing and calling, etc.

I've just spoken with other friends who are over by Buckingham Palace. There are so many people there that they cannot see a thing! I prefer our perch here on the grass, and we'll enjoy the celebration here until the partying moves on later today.

More to come! Cheers from London!

Kate Crossland-Page, 26, has lived in London for four years. She grew up in Canterbury, England, and went to University in Nova Scotia, Canada, graduating with a BA in English. She now works in publishing. She will be filing live accounts from London throughout the festivities.
