P-Diddy Coming for Brown’s Spring Weekend

Monday, February 28, 2011

Whether you want to call him P-Diddy, Puff Daddy, or Sean Combs, the fact is that the rapper is coming to Brown University for the annual Spring Weekend concerts.

He Tweeted last night, “I can't say when but I can say we are coming to BROWN UNIVERSITY!!!!" It’s to be assumed he will be headlining the show on Saturday, April 16, a spot filled last year by rapper Snoop Dogg.

Word on the campus is that originally rapper Ludacris had signed on to perform, but backed out of his contract, leading to his replacement by P-Diddy.

The Tweet has since been taken down off of his account, presumably because the Brown Concert Agency, the organizer of the shows, is not pleased that he announced it before they released the official lineup, which should be out sometime in the near future.
