There was a real "A-Lister" at Downcity Restaurant on Sunday. Rodiney Santiago from The A-List: New York was spotted eating at the former Kitchen Nightmares eatery. For the uninitiated, The A-List: NY is a Real Housewives-style show on the LGBT network Logo that follows the lives of six gay and bisexual men in New York. Santiago is a Brazilian model and during the first season of the show, his main storyline was his relationship with Reichen Lehmkuhl, who is known for winning the fourth season of The Amazing Race and for his previous romance with Lance Bass. Get ready to scream! The Rock and Shock festival in Worcester this weekend (October 14-16) is going to bring a whole slew of horror and entertainment stars to the area. The "shock" part, taking place at the DCU Center, is being headlined by Freddy Kreuger himself, Robert Englund,

Baldwin said he'd like to visit the over 100-year old building himself, and we'd certainly have no complaints of he decided to stop by Providence as well...
There's a new book about The Biebs in which a Brown University grad plays an important role. Belieber!: Fame, Faith, and the Heart of Justin Bieber by Cathleen Falsani (who has interviewed famous people such as Barack Obama, U2's Bono, Elie Wiesel, and Anne Rice) is about tween singing sensation Justin Bieber's Christian faith and the part it has played in his success. One chapter of the book addresses Justin's charitable works, and largely focuses on Adam Braun, Brown '06, the younger brother of Justin's manager Scooter Braun. Adam was inspired by his travels during his junior year at Brown to form a charity called Pencils of Promise. The foundation builds schools in impoverished areas of the world, and Justin was one of the organization's first supporters, and is now one of its biggest advocates. Just goes to show how Rhode Island alums end up in high places…
