Velma Hart to Appear on Radio Show Tomorrow

Thursday, February 17, 2011

In a town hall meeting with President Obama in September 2010, Velma Hart of Maryland told the President in simplest terms, she was "exhausted" from defending him and disappointed with his policies. In an instant, Hart created a media firestorm, and became the face of frustrated Obama voters across the country.

Tomorrow, Hart will appear on the radio program Patricia Raskin Positive Business at 3:30pm on AM790 WPRV (and streamed live on www.790business.com). Since her disappointment heard round the world, Hart lost her job in December, but has kept her spirits high. "Velma Hart is full of inspiration, especially for those stuck in the wrong job, have lost their job or seeking to a new career,” said Raskin. “A world of new opportunity opened up for Velma when she had to make a career change and her words of wisdom are filled with practical strategy and hope." Raskin will discuss with her the process she adopted to tackle the tough times and turn them into opportunities, and building upon your strengths and creating a new you.
