MASSive Comic Con is here! The show takes place on Saturday, June 27 and Sunday, June 28 at the DCU Center starting at 10 a.m. on each day.
This year's show features tons of great artists and writers from comic books such as Batman and The Amazing Spider-Man as well as a big costume and video game contest.
MASSive Comic Con will feature special guests like Dante Basco, who played Rufio in the movie Hook and Mark Goddard, who starred as Major West in Lost in Space.
Not to mention all the comic book vendors, giving you every oppurtunity to walk out with a cool new book.
With so much going on this weekend, GoLocalWorcester has put together a list of things to see at MASSive Comic Con to help you out.

The Costumes
There is no chance you will miss out on the costumes because they will be all over the place. Some of them will be professional cosplayers but the majority of the costumes will just be fans dressed up as their favorite characters.
The MASSive Cosplay contest will take place on Saturday, January 27 with the winner getting a cash prize.

Don't worry, there will be plenty of awesome costumes on Sunday as well.

Video Game Contest
Competitive video game playing anyone?
Video game contests at MASSive Comic Con are as follows:
Saturday:
12pm – WWE 2K15 Extreme Rules (XBOX ONE)
1pm – Mario Kart 8 (Wii U)
3pm – Mortal Kombat X (PS4)
4pm – Drawful (PS4)
Sunday:
12pm – Super Smash Bros for Wii U Doubles (Wii U)
2pm – Super Smash Bros for Wii U Singles (Wii U)
4pm – Super Mario Speed Run! (NES)
NOTE: It is recommended that players bring their own controller for Smash Bros on Sunday!

Comic Book Vendors
Be sure to check out the booths of the various comic book vendors who come in from all over New England and in some cases the country to show off, and sell off thier collection.
Dig through the boxes and scan the walls to find some really cool stuff like a first appearence of a famous villian or a first print of a cool book.
Maybe you will walk out with your own personal "holy grail" of comics.

Artist Alley
Take a stroll through artist alley and get yourself a sketch or two of your favorite comic book hero signed by one of the many great artists that will be in attendance. They may even sign a book for you.
Artists include Tom Nguyen who drew Batman: Under the Hood, a story arc spanning from Batman #635-64. The arc marks the return of former Robin Jason Todd who had previously been killed by the Joker. Todd returns as the Red Hood.
Another artist of note is Joe St. Pierre who started at Valient Comics and then shifted over to Marvel to draw The Amazing Spider-man and two Venom mini series.
He is currently the owner of the publishing company Astroanut Inc.

Winnie the Pooh
What kid doesn't love Tigger and Winnie the Pooh? Not too many, and at MASSive Comic Con kids and familes will have a chance to meet the voice of Winnie the Pooh and Tigger, Jim Cummings.
Cummings has also starred on the big screen as voices for the movie Shrek, Hook, Aladdin, The Hunchback of Notre Dame and much more.
Cummings will be speaking on the panel "How to be a Voice Actor" on Saturday, June 27 from 3:30-4:30 p.m. at the
Grand Ballroom.

General Lee Replica Car
Get your picture taken with a replica of the famous "General Lee" from the tv show "The Dukes of Hazzard."
The General Lee is based on the 1969 Dodge Charger and in the TV show was driven by Duke cousins Bo and Luke.
The General Lee appears in every single "Dukes of Hazzard" episode except one. That one episode, "Mary Kayes Baby."

Pirates
The New England Bretheren of Pirates is a crew made up of professional cosplayers, entertainers and enthusiests who dress p to help support several organization like Boston Strong, Testicular Cancer Society and more.
This year, the New England Bretheren of Pirates will be bringing along a replica of the Fountain of Youth, based on the one featured in the movie Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides.
Stop by and hang out and take some pictures with the pirates.

Dante Basco
Sit down for a Q&A with Dante Basco, who starred as "Rufio" in the movie Hook alongside Robin Williams who played a grown up Peter Pan. Pan had to return to Neverland to save his kids from Captain Hook and quickly found that Rufio was the new leader of the Lost Boys.
Basco also had roles in CSI: Miami, Entourage and Hawaii Five-O as well as The Fresh Prince of Bel-air.
Basco's Q&A will be held on June 28 from 2:30-3:30 p.m. at JR Ballrooms.

Major West
"Indeed Major" was the line often used by Dr. Smith (Jonathan Harris) in reference to Major West, played by Mark Goddard, in the the hit 1960's television series "Lost in Space."
Goddard will be at the "Lost in Space" panel on Saturday, June 27 from 1:30-2:30 p.m. in the JR Ballroom.
Goddard also had roles as Sgt. Chris Ballard on "The Detectives" and made a cameo appearence in the reboot film "Lost in Space"

The Goonies
In honor of the 30th Anniversary of The Goonies, MASSive Comic Con will show a screening of the film, followed by a question and answer session with one of the stars of the film Sean Astin (chunk).
The film will be shown at Mechanics Hall on saturday, June 27 at 7 p.m. followed by the Q&A at 9.
Watching The Goonies with a Goonie is an event you don't want to miss.
