Worcester County DA Early Confirms 3 Dead Infants Found in Rat Infested Home

Worcester County District Attorney Joe Early has confirmed that Law Enforcement officials are investigating the discovery of three dead infants in Blackstone, MA.

Blackstone officials have confirmed that the house on St. Paul Street in the site.

Four children of varying ages have been taken into custody by DCF. They are ages 6 months, 3, 10, and 13-years old, but it has been disclosed if they are all of the same family.

Early said in an interview with media, the age and gender, or date of death of the three infants had not been determind yet.

A major briefing by Law Enforcement is expected on Friday according to Early's office.

Police Chief Ross A. Atstupenas announces that the Blackstone Police Department, with the help of Worcester County District Attorney Joseph D. Early Jr., and State Troopers assigned to his office and the State Police Crime Scene Services Section, are investigating a crime scene at a home on St. Paul Street.

No additional details are available at this time, however, Chief Atstupenas would like to get the word out to the community that there is no danger to the public whatsoever.

“The Blackstone Police Department is working closely with District Attorney Early’s office, to investigate a crime scene,” Chief Atstupenas said. “We will release more information to the public as soon as we can, but right now, I just want everyone in the community to know that there is no danger, and that they should not be alarmed by the increased police presence in town today.”
