Worcester Police Investigate Shooting - 19-Year-Old Seriously Wounded

Early on Tuesday morning at approximately 1:40 AM Worcester police officers responded to the area of 6 Freeland Street after receiving a ShotSpotter activation. 

Upon arrival, officers located 19-year-old male suffering from gunshot wounds. The victim was rushed to the hospital to be treated for serious injuries.

Multiple police units were dispatched to the scene to investigate. Detective Bureau Investigators have been working around the clock reviewing the facts of this incident.

There is limited information at this time on potential suspects.
